Why we built this site
There are a million finance websites, why ours?
Have you noticed that when a news event breaks, almost all of the news articles you can find on Google News have similar lines? Other than reporting the news, there’s very little insight added.
Our objective here is to deep dive into the day to day news and offer our insights and analysis. These are our personal opinions and not investment recommendations and we do not accept any liability from any actions made based on this website.
We are not here to scam you
Too many so-called finance websites are selling get-rich-quick hopes and taking advantage of their readers. For example, high priced courses that are way overvalued (or even encourage investing in risky assets that you could have done without paying the high priced courses).
Of course, we do not intend to change other people’s behavior, however we plan to provide an alternative. We will be upfront about our monetization (through ads, books and perhaps subscriptions) and we do not intend to push high priced products of dubious value or rug pull anyone.
While we built this site with the intention of making some pocket money (yes, nothing comes for free), we do not plan to monetize by parting the reader of substantial amounts of money ( at most you’ll see some ads and maybe get recommended books that cost $10 apiece).
And in today’s internet, we feel this is quite rare, so this is the deal we are offering.
